WISEGUY LOUNGE/ Lexington, KY

I have visited Wiseguy Lounge in Lexington, KY a few times, as it is a part of a staple Lexington- the Distillery District. This lounge is a part of Goodfellas Pizzeria and has other locations with the bourbon bar on the premises. During this visit, I tried 1792 Full Proof for the very first time.

1792 Small Batch is one of my favorite bourbons, so I was fascinated to learn that this Wiseguy Lounge location had a happy hour on their own Private Barrel Picks. Of places I frequent, it has been difficult finding any other 1792 other than small batch. With tasting the Full Proof, the notes of rye made themselves known. However, the rye wasn’t overbearing.
